The Yarra Valley offers a unique food and wine experience, with many wineries specializing in the foods of the region at the cellar door and adjacent restaurants. A warehouse-cum-factory space in the Yarra Valley makes a real statement. There's an organic, artisan style bakehouse and a unique coffee bean-roasting facility. There's also something incredibly connective about wine tasting in the very place the wine is crushed, fermented, bottled and stored. Get involved with a look behind the scenes and experience the exciting sights, tastes and smells. You'll experience a private barrel room tasting with the wine maker. Wines will be taken directly from the barrel and accompanied with a sampling of delectable regional goodies. Arrive for lunch and a private tasting in an original Stockman's bush hut. Explore the first site in Victoria to unearth the elusive black truffle. Boil billy tea, make your own damper. Learn secrets of the harvest and the family's conservation policies. Plant a tree, search for wedge tailed eagles, near extinct yellow helmeted honey eaters and an elusive platypus. Enjoy a magnificent bushwalk to spectacular waterfalls. Learn about the upkeep and running of a working Australian farm. Time will stand still and you'll never want to leave this idyllic retreat.
Your guides will make suggestions for dinner restaurants. Dinner will be at additional expense.

Continental breakfast at your hotel. Surrounded by two bays, and pounded by the surf of Bass Strait, the Mornington Peninsula is known as Melbourne's playground for the rich and famous. The vibrant colors of more than 150 vineyards provide an integral part of its rich scenic appeal. The rustic charm of the wineries and the warmth of the local wine makers will make your epicurean journey memorable. You’ll travel in luxury through a tapestry of vineyards with magnificent roadside landscapes and coastal scenery. The marginal maritime climate on Mornington Peninsula means that its most successful wines are the Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, with Pinot Gris winning acclaim. You’ll visit Gordon Studio Glassblowers to marvel as colorful glass masterpieces are created before your eyes. Meander down a winding, dirt track to the stunning Red Hill Estate. Sample the flavors of their aware wining cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, while Gary and the team teach you that wine appreciation doesn't have to be too serious.

Wander through from the cellar door to Ma's Restaurant, with unspoilt panoramic views of the vines and of Western Port Bay. Dine on exceptional regional produce and carefully matched wines and soak up the essence of the peninsula. Indulge and unwind! Your afternoon continues with several options of scenic stops before the unique and beautiful Montalto Vineyard and Olive Grove to enjoy the innovative provincial food, taste their award winning wines and olive oil at the cellar door or take a stoll through the wetlands. You'll return to Melbourne in time to prepare for dinner.
